With over 60 years of experience in the profession, the Piedro Group has developed a deep understanding of the importance of well-designed, supportive footwear and has become recognised as an expert in the field.

Piedro Ltd is part of the Piedro Group and is responsible for the retail and distribution of Piedro footwear across the UK and Ireland. Working closely with our group companies and manufacturing team, we bring Piedro’s specialist footwear to customers, retailers and healthcare professionals throughout the region.

Our shared expertise combines specialist design, technical knowledge and high-quality manufacturing to create footwear for people who require more from their shoes — from a wide range of sizes and widths to features designed to accommodate individual foot shapes and medical conditions.

Piedro’s story began in the Netherlands, where the company was first established with a clear focus on developing specialist therapeutic footwear. As our reputation and expertise grew, we began working with UK distributors to bring Piedro footwear to more customers.

As demand continued to grow, we took the next step and established Piedro Ltd, creating a dedicated presence to serve customers and healthcare professionals across the UK and Ireland. Our international journey continued with the establishment of Piedro USA, allowing us to support customers across North America directly.

The final piece of the journey came with the acquisition of our manufacturing facility in Portugal. Bringing manufacturing into the Piedro family completed the foundations of the business we have today — with our head office in the Netherlands, dedicated companies in the UK and USA, and our own manufacturing facility in Portugal.

Although we operate internationally, our focus remains the same: creating high-quality therapeutic footwear that combines specialist function with modern design. We believe people who need more from their footwear shouldn’t have to compromise on style.
